COOKIE NOTICE

1. Purpose and Scope

This Cookie Notice has been prepared to explain the types of cookies used on the acoren.com network (“Network”), their purposes, and how you can manage your cookie options.

2. What is a Cookie?

Cookies are small data files that can be stored in your browser in order to ensure that the Network functions properly, support security, and improve the user experience. Cookies may be “session cookies” (deleted when the browser is closed) or “persistent cookies” (remain for a certain period of time).

3. Types of Cookies Used

a) Strictly Necessary Cookies

Purpose:
- Session management
- Security
- Language selection / remembering selections

Without strictly necessary cookies, the core functions of the Network cannot be provided. Therefore, separate consent is not sought for strictly necessary cookies.
Session cookies are required for authenticated customer-portal actions (e.g., file downloads).

b) Usage Measurement (Analytics) Cookies

Purpose:
- Usage measurement
- Evaluating and improving the performance of the Network

These cookies are enabled only with user consent (e.g., Google Analytics or similar).

c) Marketing Cookies

Purpose:
- Measuring the effectiveness of advertising activities
- Documenting advertising performance

These cookies may be used only with user consent and through third-party services such as Google Ads (DoubleClick). Marketing cookies are not used for user identification or for direct marketing; they are assessed solely for the purpose of measuring advertising performance.

In this Cookie Notice, the term “Marketing cookies” refers to the class name in the cookie consent interface. Cookies within this class are not used by ACOREN for direct marketing communications (SMS/email/phone); they are activated with user consent solely for measuring advertising performance and producing attribution reports.

4. Cookie Choices (Consent and Management)

Anyone accessing the Network;

- may accept or reject Usage Measurement (Analytics) cookies and Marketing cookies,
- may update their cookie choices at any time via Cookie Settings,
- may withdraw the consent they have given at any time.

The cookie consents given are recorded and stored in a verifiable manner when necessary.

In addition, you can delete, block, or restrict cookies via your browser settings. However, if you disable cookies, some functions of the Network may not work as expected.

5. Nature as Personal Data

Through cookies; cookie identifiers, device/session information, usage data, and similar technical information may be processed. In some cases, these data may be considered personal data under the law. However, it is not intended to collect identity information such as name and surname directly through cookies; technical data necessary for usage measurement and the operation of the service are evaluated to a limited extent.

6. Effective Date

This Cookie Notice enters into force on the effective date announced on the acoren.com network.

ACOREN may update this text; in case of an update, the “Version” and “Effective Date” information is updated.
